Uganda is located in East Africa west of Kenya, east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Cordinates 1.0667° N, 32.8833° E ) with a terrain mostly plateau with rim of mountains, fertile, well-watered country with many lakes and rivers.  it has a diverse landscape that encompasses the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains.  located on the border between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, the mountains support glaciers at heights up to 5,109 m (16,761 ft). The highest Rwenzori peaks are permanently snow-capped.
Lake Victoria. Africa's biggest inland fresh water body. The lake was named after Queen Victoria ( United Kingdom ) by the explorer John H. Speke its abundant wildlife includes endangered gorillas and chimpanzees as well as rare birds
Remote Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a famous mountain gorilla sanctuary, while Murchison Falls National Park in the northwest is known for its 43m-tall waterfall and wildlife such as hippos. Kenya is located in East Africa, on the equator. ( Cordinates 1 00 N, 38 00 E )  Large animals such as lions, buffalo, leopards, elephants and rhinoceros are present in Kenya. In Kenya they drive on the left-hand side of the road. Kenya is named after Mt Kenya, the tallest mountain in the country (5,199 metres, 17,057 feet) shares Lake Victoria, the world's second largest fresh water lake, with Tanzania and Uganda. Kenya features many national parks and wildlife reserves, with safaris being a popular activity for visitors.
